Nancy Erley Captain of two 5-year world circumnavigations. Nancy holds a USCG 100-ton Master of Oceans license and is the recipient of the Leadership in Women's Sailing Award from BoatUS and the National Women's Sailing Association. She an Instructor Evaluator Ocean for the International Sail and Power Association and offers private lessons and learning trips for women aboard her boat Tethys in the Pacific Northwest.

Jo Abeli of Abeli Marine Electric is a newly independent contractor in Port Townsend, WA. After graduating the Northwest School of Wooden Boatbuilding, she spent a few years working as a shipwright and general laborer before finding her niche as marine electrician. Her favorite projects are safety upgrades, untangling unruly distribution panels, and modernizing electrical systems on recreational and commercial fishing vessels. She is also a proud member of a new marine trades collective of independent contractors forming in the PT Boat Haven.
