Doug has been on and around boats since he was five years old. From Lake Washington to cruising the San Juan Islands as a youth Doug gravitated towards the racing circuit. He has had the honor of racing on some top notch Seattle area boats winning Seattle yacht club boat of the year and 48 N. number one ranking on multiple boats. Doug has been the manager of a boat yard, Sailed deliveries on both coast, teaches ASA and RPBA From Seattle to the Caribbean and currently captains an 80 foot Ketch to Alaska and back. Doug is the founder of the CohoHoHo sailing rally and proud father of two amazing daughters. Youngest Devon is a licensed captain, marine biologist And Doug's co-speaker.
